The Clinical Research Center (CRC), located within Virginia Mason Medical Center, is designed to provide the support and resources required to conduct phase 1 through 4 clinical research trials. This optimal state-of-the-art facility provides a controlled, dedicated and patient-centered environment in which to conduct adult and pediatric clinical trials. Patients at the CRC receive the best possible treatment and oversight of research procedures from simple interviews to more complex therapies including autologous cellular product and monoclonal agent infusions. The unit's experienced staff members provide compassionate care and are specially trained in conducting drug and/or device clinical trials. This valuable multidisciplinary research facility offers research trial participants shorter wait times, a relaxing environment, video and reading libraries and other amenities to make their visit comfortable and rewarding. A variety of electronic games, children's videos, toys and caring staff make the unit especially "kid-friendly".
