Position: Per Diem Nurse
Department: Clinical Research Center (CRC)
Status: Part-time
Responsibilities and Qualifications:
This position will provide support to the Clinical Research Center by providing various medical services for the subjects participating in research studies. This may include starting IV’s, performing blood draws, checking vital signs, performing infusions, monitoring participants post infusion and/or procedures and any other nursing related support to the research staff pertinent to participant care. This person would also be available to cover the Clinical Research Center in the absence of the Nurse Manager when needed.

This candidate must have a current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Washington State and one year of professional nursing experience. A BSN is preferred. Must possess solid communications and interpersonal skills to utilize with both participants and staff. Some understanding of research concepts is desirable and must be able to work with and meet protocol requirements. Computer and office equipment skills are helpful.
