What is the Maintenance therapy for advanced ovarian or peritoneal cancer (GOG 0212) study?
Regimen 1: Chemotherapy with CT-2103 for a maximum of 12 total treatments.
Regimen 2: Chemotehrapy with Paclitaxel for a maximum of 12 total treatments.
Regimen 3: No anti-cancer treatment until evidence of disease progression.
Who can participate?
Eligibiilty:
~Histological daignosis fo primary peritoneal carcinoma or epithelial ovarain carcinoma, Stage II or IV.
~Has completed treatmetn with the past 12 weeks with at least 5 cylces and no more than 8 cycles of platinum and paclitaxel or codetaxel-based combination chemotherapy and have no symptoms suggestive or persistant cancer.
N~Normal CT scan of the abdomen/pelvis and normal CA-125 following treatment
Ineligibility:
~Patients with current diagnosis of epithelial ovarian tumor of low malignant potential are not eligible.
~patietns who have recieved prior radiotherapy to any portion of the abdominal cavity or pelvis.
~Patients with synchronous primary endometrial cancer, or a past history of primary endometrial cancer.
~No other malignancies within the last 5 years
