What is the Brain Metastases in NSCLC (RTOG 0320) study?
Arm 1: Whole Brain Radiation with Stereotactic Surgery
Arm 2: Whole Brain Radiation with Stereotactic Surgery
and Temozolomide
Arm 3: Whole Brain Radiation with Stereortactic Surgery
and Erlotinib
Who can participate?
Eligibility:
~Histologically confirmed non-samll cell lung cancer with 1-3 brain metastases
~Maximun brain tumor diameter of equal to or less than 4.0cm
~ No metastes to brain stem, bidbarin, pons medulla or within 10mm of the optic appartus
~Neurologic function status 0-2
Ineligibility:
~Major medical illnesses or psychiatric impairments
~Clinical or radiographic evidence of progression within one moth prior to enrollment (other than the study lesions)
~Previous cranial radiation
~Patietn wo are HIV positive
